Recycled Oakley Sunglasses - Bob Burnquist Recycled Fuel Cell Sunglasses

bob-burnquist-oakley-sunglasses.jpgRecycled Oakley sunglasses such as the Bob Burnquist recycled Fuel Cell sunglasses not only look totally bad-ass they also play a role in preserving the mother nature's valuable resources for future generations! In-fact these recycled Oakley sunglasses are produced from excess materials that come from the manufacturing processes of other Oakley eyewear. The eco-conscious design of the Bob Burnquist recycled Fuel Cell sunglasses also utilize bamboo for the icon accent inserts and the included storage bag as well. Buy a pair of these bad-boys and a portion of the proceeds from the sale will go to help fund the Action Sports Environmental Coalition (ASEC), an organization co-founded by Bob in 2001.

So who's Bob Burnquist? Well, anyone who's been a fan of skateboarding in the past 20 years certainly knows! As for those of you who may not be as skate-savvy, Bob happens to be one of the most if not the most technical professional skateboarders in the world! His runs are typically complicated, inventive, and he sometimes incorporates subtle tricks, grabs, and maneuvers that can easily be missed by more casual skateboarding fans. Bob Burnquist is a product of Brazil and also gets his kicks sky-diving in his spare time. His motto: "go big or go home!"

The Review:

We take great pride in our testing and review process here at beSportier.com, so when the opportunity became available to test and review the Bob Burnquist Recycled Fuel Cell's by Oakley we couldn't say no. At first glance they looked pretty good, but as we delved deeper into our review process we found out these glasses are simply outstanding!

Styling: Honestly, these are some of the best looking sunglasses Oakley has produced in quite some time. We've yet to find a person who they don't look good on.

Comfort: After wearing the glasses for several hours some of our testers did experience some slight soreness behind their ears. This could be due to the glasses being brand spankin' new or as we've been told before...  Some some of us just have big heads!

Optics: Oakly has done it again! The the PLUTONITE lenses filter out 100% of UVA, UVB, and UVC harmful light. Exactly what we've grown to expect. Be careful taking them off on a sunny day, the light will feel blinding!

Durability: Made using thick recycled plastic, these three-piece sunglasses are the epidemy of durability. Keep them clean, and try to keep yourself from throwing them around like a rag-doll and they should last for years and years.

Pricing: Coming in at $100 the Bob Burnquist recycled Fuel Cell sunglasses are at the low-end of Oakley's pricing. Making these Oakley's somewhat affordable all earth lovers!

The Bottom Line: We strongly recommend the Bob Burnquist recycled Fuel Cell sunglasses to anyone who wants to look great, keep their retinas from burning up, and save mother earth all in one quick purchase. And don't forget a portion of the proceeds from all sales will go to help fund the Action Sports Environmental Coalition (ASEC). Want to know more about Bob Burnquist and his relationship with Oakley?
