Minimalist Sleeping Bag - Big Agnes Tumble Down 20
A minimalist sleeping bag like this Big Agnes Tumble Down 20 will keep you cozy while keeping a lower carbon footprint then the competition. This minimalist sleeping bag has had most or all of the insulation on its bottom replaced with a thin sleeve for a sleeping pad. The idea behind the Big Agnes Tumble Down 20 is that the body compresses the fill beneath it, so using a pad for insulation was the obvious next step because it requires less fill and creates a lower footprint. Now you get to stuff the bag with your choice of mats (it holds any 20-inch-wide rectangular or mummy mat). And offcourse in colder temps, you'll need an insulated mat. The bag also features a yoke-style draft collar and thick draft tube along the 3/4-length zipper which insulates well. This one will be out soon for a price of $260. Bigagnes.com.
