Nike PreCool Vest Keeps Athletes Cool
Since athletes at the Beijing Olympics are undoubtedly going to get hot and perspire, Nike has created the Nike Nike PreCool Vest. The Nike Nike PreCool has multiple triangular cavities of various sizes with frozen water inside. The vest should be used within one hour prior to competition and proper use will lower the body temperature of the athlete and help them last 21% longer out in the field. The vest is made with two different materials, the first acts as a thermos, preventing the cold from escaping and the second helps to keep the body cool. It's inventions like these that change the face of sports.
