The Ellsworth Ride utilizes use of the NuVinci hub(Originally invented by Leonardo Da Vinci in 1490), a system using tilting spheres to allow seamless pedaling gradients smoother than the standard chain and gear system and which creates a smoother ride. Other cool features follow this vibe like the dual adjusting handle bars for comfort, and the wide low profile wheels that create more traction and stability for the rider.
