Many people are hesitant to buy electric cars because they are slower and more expensive. The Tesla Electric Roadster hopes to elevate the image of the plug-in electic car with stats like a top speed of 130mph, 13,500 RPM, and a 0-60mph in about four seconds. That's impressive! How much juice do u get? Well for a 3.5 hour charge, the Roadster will take you about 250 miles, which beats most sports cars running on a tank of gas. The Roadster will be selling for a price $100,000 with a $5,000 waiting list down payment. It's good to see how much more attractive being green is becoming. Tesla Motors
