Early Show anchor Jessica Kastrop says "Nobody said 'watch out,' I didn't hear it coming, I had no idea that it was coming and actually I don't remember the second when it hit me," when a stray 100mph soccer ball hit her in the head last week. The incident has also come with immediate video fame. The anchor also told interviewers that "He apologized immediately by like raising his hand and saying 'Sorry it was my fault." At first we didn't buy the story because we though she was hit by a football, but a soccer ball maybe.
"The lovely thing is that on Sunday I've been to Stuttgart again and I saw him again and he came over to me with a whole bunch of flowers," Jessica reports. She then reveals that this isn't the first time she's been hit by a ball on the sidelines, "Yes, I have to say it's the third time."
