Safe Biking with NR4 Illuminated Running Apparel
Safe biking is kind of an oxymoron, if you look at the stats, but NR4 Illuminated Running Apparel could help to make bikers, runners etc. more visible at night if the line becomes reality. Safe biking can once again become a reality if more clothing featured integrated luminescence like that of NR4 Illuminated Running Apparel. NR4 uses Electro Luminescent (EL) wires to add the flexibility factor to the apparel, plus a "moisture-wicking stretch fabric" which will keep you dry. The lights would be powered with a flexible, rechargeable battery which is connected to a standard wall socket. A con is the lightweight pack that you'd have to keep on your upper back. There's a working prototype already made, so we hope to see more of this technology out in the mainstream.
