Pedal assisted bikes like this Grace Pro Race will get you going fast without so much effort. A collaboration between designer and entrepreneur Michael Hecken and Karl-Heinz Nicolai, these pedal assisted bikes can attain speeds of up to 45km/h and churn out 500 to 1300 watts of power. The Grace Pro Race comes with a handlebar-mounted computer with two headlights (housed in rugged CNC-machined block of aluminum) that shows you information like the level of charge in the lithium ion cells. The bike requires a one-hour recharge, which is good for about 30-50 green kilometers. Also cool is how it comes in three frame options and is available in 64 colors.
