Here's a cool new television shows for 2010 called Men Of A Certain Age that's about the lives of every day middle-aged men Ray Romano("Everybody Loves Raymond"), Scott Bakula("Quantum Leap"), and Andre Braugher("Homicide"). Of the new television shows for 2010, this one has quite the different plotline. Men Of A Certain Age is focused on a trio of childhood friends in their late 40's dealing with middle age. The combination of the actor's career expertise makes for a playful combination and is just like watching guys being guys while tackling problems, life changes, relationships, and middle age. Romano's character plays a recent divorcee who has two kids and owns a party-warehouse store and has a gambling problem. Bakula plays an aging, actor who can't get a break that still dates and but has nothing to show for his age and seems unhappy overall. Braugher is car salesman who works for his dads car dealership has a demanding wife and young, high maintenance kids. We watched a trailer of the first episode and have to say it has a certain down to earth, good-valued quality that is hard to find on TV today!
MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE, from TNT Original Productions, is set to debut Monday, Dec. 7, at 10/9c, following an all-new episode of the network's hit series THE CLOSER. The premiere episode is written by Romano and Royce and directed by two-time Emmy winner Scott Winant (thirtysomething).
