Easton sent us one of their Synergy EQ50 new technology hockey sticks, a stick that comes from the Synergy line that offers power, balance, and energy control. These new technology hockey sticks give you great puck authority with innovative features like Visible Focus Weight Technology (15 grams) which redistributes weight to the impact area to control hard passes and keeps the puck on your blade. Evolving from the SE16 hockey stick, the EQ50 spruced up their already successful Focus Weight Technology by making it visible and customizable.

The Easton EQ50 also comes with customizable weighted end cap (above) for optimal balance (Fully customizable from 6.5-26.5 grams) with adjustable swing weight via four 5-gram end weights inside. You will want to start with 2 weights inside and then decide how many to add depending on how long you want it. This feature is awesome and is a great way to insure that you have an overall balanced feel even if you're cutting a little bit.

Also cool, is how Easton has continued to use their Focus Weight Technology but made their weight in heel visible this year, which looks really slick. These weights are 20 grams and are going to give the stick more of a sold feel and optimal swing weight and let you make easy one touch passes and shots.

Other features include a Kevlar wrapped shaft for impact protection and vibration dampening. The almost clear graphics reveal the carbon material underneath to make for a really cool look! A badass stick overall. Keep it coming Easton. You can buy the Easton EQ50 Synergy Hockey Stick for a price of $210.

Check out the video below for proof that the EQ50 has magical powers (JK!).
