Landyachtz Eco-friendly Bamboo Stout Longboard
Christmas eve came early this year as we got just the Landyachtz Eco-friendly Bamboo Stout Longboard in the mail from the fine people at Landyachtz. They had at first offered to send us their Drop Hammer model, but we chose to pick what we think is there sickest design (Artwork by Jon Fox www.soulofagiant.com) and best eye candy for our site, the Bamboo Stout!
But don't get me wrong, the Stout is much more than eye candy, and offers a Bamboo construction which gives the board "a nice bounce to it". It's also one of the smaller bamboo boards Landyachtz has and features a shorter pintail that's great for commuting around and cruising, and a light weight design and smaller size that makes it easy to carry around. A shorter wheel base also makes it easier to make quick turns which is great for city riding. You can buy the board alone for $82.00 or get the complete that comes with Grizzly 8/52 trucks, 63mm Micro Monster wheels, 1/4" risers and LY abec 7 bearings for only $191.00 USD.
