Designed specifically for cold environments, this gps works great for skiers, snowboarders and for all snowsports in general and can transmit its location every seconds over a 15 hour period. The Flaik personal tracking device provides technologies from both GPS & GSM/GPRS so you can check out your speed, distance, altitude and airtime and more after a long day of riding. The data is mapped in real-time using Flaik's web-based Location Software via SMS. Copper Mountain will provide a satellite-based safety net for thousands of ski and snowboard school students this year with the Flaik GPS tracking system.
