Folding Bikes by MountainSkyver
These Folding Bikes called MountainSkyvers are downhill bicycles without a gearbox, chain and drive train. We've covered other Folding Bikes in the past and the MountainSkyver works preety much the same way. Simply fold it away easily, carry it uphill in your backpack, and ride back down when you get to the top. MountainSkyver comes in two style including a lighter version which weighs only eight kilogram's and is perfect for touring. A heavier folding bike model is also available but isn't as convenient to hike up with. The Mountain Skyver was built as a welcome summer alternative for ski lift operators, bike parks, alternative to the often tough descents for, and as a means of extending trips and giving the hiker a fun "skyv" to look forward to. No word on how much they cost as this is a new start-up.
