Enertia Electric Motorcycle

Brammo, makers of the Enertia Electric Motorcycle, has just raised $10 million from investors that include Best Buy Capital to move forward production on the Enertia electric motorcycle. The Enertia Electric Motorcycle is a bit similar to the Zero X lithium-ion electric dirt bike, except that it's a road bike. Anyway, the Enertia manages over four times the energy efficiency of the most popular hybrids and over twice the efficiency of an all-electric car, gets 45 miles per charge, and comes with GPS and is WiFi-enabled (helping you calculate your carbon savings). The Enertia Electric Motorcycle will sell for about $15K, with the first bikes out around Q3 2008, or $12k if you can wait longer.
