E-Quickie Electric Car Uses Electric Induction Instead Of Being Charged With Electricity

This E-Quickie Electric Car, built by fourteen students from the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences actually runs on energy sucked straight from the road instead of electricity by means of electric induction. So the car actually sucks up the electrical conductors embedded in the road itself. Pretty Cool! The car is powered by a 2kw motor but achieves a top speed of 50 km/h. Batteries are included, but only as a buffer. So far, the car is very small and and only hits 31MPH, but this sounds like a great start for a whole new realm of Green Car!
