D3o Lab Technology Makes Extreme Sports Safer
D3o Lab Technology, developed by scientists working with skiwear maker Spyder, is a specially engineered material made with intelligent molecules. These molecules are normally flexible and flow with you as you move but on shock lock together to absorb the impact energy. D30's flexible form of "body armor" molds to the shape of your body and hardens on impact, when you really need it. While d3o lab do not make products for sale, they do work with many brands to produce innovative new products such as these award winning, JPMS ‘Best Product of the Year’, Racer gloves...
"The gloves, specially designed for motorcycle racing, are the first to include both shock absorption and protection. The bi-density Racer knuckle is very soft and flexible but, through the integration of d3o technology, any shock to the area is quickly absorbed. d3o has also been incorporated into all key impact areas on the glove in the back of the hand, cuff and base of the palm to provide all over hand protection."
