The swingarm on the 2009 Aprilia RXV 4.5, 5.5 Dirtbike is now made with a cast aluminum body and hydroformed members, making it both lighter and more flexible plus providing the rider better traction and stability over rough ground. Aprilia RXV 4.5, 5.5 Motorbike also a new seat height which is 5mm lower thanks to a new, lighter rear subframe. The coolest difference from last year has to be the new bold graphics that reflect Aprilia's new graphic design language.

2009 KTM 400 EXC Dirt Bike
The 2009 KTM 400 EXC Dirt Bike has been upgraded this year with a short-stroke engine. Ktm claims that the KTM 400 EXC Dirt Bike will be the best all-round dirt bike in its range with its combination of performance of a motocross competition bike with the ride-ability and all-day usability of an enduro. The motor also got new titanium valves, a magnesium cylinder-head cover and a new hot-start system, which should make it easier to restart the bike after a fall. The Kawasaki KX450F-style speed holes will be a kick for performance too.
